Well....I'm back in the game after nearly 6 months. I previously owned a '93 MTX SHO. I sold it back in July with 114K miles for $2900. I ran in to the kid who bought it last Thursday and he was telling me that they traded it in because the clutch went. The dealership gave them $800 as a trade in. I just got back from purchasing it for $1100 out the door with 124K miles.

Now I need to get the clutch replaced so I can start driving it. I'm hoping to get some suggestions on a good shop close to Erie, PA. I'm not looking for a huge expense or I'll probably just sell the car. Mike (the kid who bought it from me) said the Ford Dealership wanted $1200 to replace it.

I'm also in search of a nice set of white SHO rims. Mike replaced the original white slicers with some chrome rims that I absolutely hate.

Do you have a picture of the rims on it? I may be looking for another set.

Someone on ebay is selling some supposedly new white rims. The bidding is up to 380 bucks though. The guy says that each rim costs 400 a piece with I think is a load of bull but I don't underestimate ford's retail price. 2 days left on the auction.

saw the same rims on e-bay and damn they look good. Not 1 scratch on em', actually never even been used before so thats why they are soo much $$$. If you really want them I suggest you bid on them the day they will be sold. The sellers will use another name to f#@k with you so you pay more. Pay at the last second and throw those badd larry's on your new SHO. good luck thumbs_u

hey i'm in Pittsburgh like the snow?
I am trying to find a shop to replace mine now but i talked to my local dealer and he qouted me a price of 680 just for the labor and I am looking to buy my clutch from shonut that should bring the price down to 970. and I am trying to see if i can get a local clutch shop to do it for less. I think it list at like a 10 + hour job for a mechanic. so it would be alot of work. but some small shops charge less per hour. see if you know anyone that knows a mechanic
