clutch cable

how hard is it to install a clutch cable on a 92mtx, any tricks or is it pretty simple

Pretty simple, like you can do it in 10 minutes for a first timer. Just prop the clutch pedal up with something, this takes the tension off the cable to allow it to stretch out some, that way you can remove it from the lever arm on top of the transmission. After you remove that, remove it from the clutch pedal assembly. It will be hooked in the blue quadrant. After that, pull the cable back through the holding hole on top of the transmission casing, then yank her out! :)

Thats the easy part the hard part is getting the new cable back through the firewall (at least from the top, I didn't try it from the bottom maybe you could actually see the hole from there). I put a peice of string through the hole from the pass. compartment, tied it to the end of the cable and pulled it from the engine side to the pass. side.

hey guys, i thought my cable was streched but it turns out i adjusted it manualy, so my question is u know how it clicks when its tightening, howmany clicks should i do
