ok I changed my clutch and I need to loosen the clutch cable it adjusted when I pulled the cable off yesterday. How do you loosen the cable? It's a 91 SHO with the cable shifter.

Don't take my advice.
Loosen it so you can reattach it to the trans?
Two people - one lifts up on clutch pedal, and the other one pulls on the end of the cable in the engine bay.
Reattach to the fork, then do the clutch cable adjustment.

That easy? It's just the opposite of tightening?
