I think it depends on your target audience. I have them on my golf cart but it's not something I'd put on my car to drive around with. If you were taking your car to shows or if you run around with a group of people that have them, then I'd say "why not".

I'll use my exhaust cut-outs as an example. I wouldn't engage them at work, but I might if I'm pull up to a sports car at a stop light or just playing around with friends.

You're going to have a switch to control them and they're a relatively inexpensive mod, so why not?

On a daily...meh. SHOw car? Maybe.

I think some tastefully placed LED's are cool.

Not really sure how I feel about them now, as a younger guy I was like "**** YEAH LIGHTS" but now I like things a bit more understated. I was debating mostly getting them so my daughter could enjoy them, being 3 and already into cars just thought it might fan the flame a bit lol. What 3yr old doesn't like shiney things?!

I have a 3 in my age and I love shiny things. Except Chrome on my SHO.

Agreed with this, not a huge chrome fan myself, car just kinda turned out that way with the wheel choice, and never redipped my window moldings after hail.

That's the sole reason I put them on my golf cart. We take it to the beach every year and there's a strip where golf carts cruise and kids high five each other (pre C-19). My kids love it when we've got the uderglows and speakerglows going, bumping the Zombies sound track...."I'm winning"

Things you do for kids.... I kinda inherited a 3 year old. I can't keep her out of my cars, much less under them with me. She now has more experience in changing oil then most millennial males lol.

Nice... yesterday I got my 19 year old daughter to do a supervised rotor and pad swap on my Mazda, as she was working on it she kept asking "and you said dealers charge how much for this?". She thought it was an easy job.

Unrelated, those aren't harbor freight stands are they? >.>
No they aren't. They are heavy duty Craftsman jack stands. I also have the ramps under there as well. I lost a friend to having a car fall on him. If anything I am over proactive when getting under a vehicle, esp when she wants to help.

I had LED's installed on mine.

But it was primarily for the SHOw aspect(s) as that is a category that is checked off and points scored for it's implementation. Particularly at larger, national based events.

The local car club I roll with, each of the owners has them as well. In varying colors, placement, etc.

I kind of like 'em. But I can understand why others wouldn't want them.

Meh. Each their own, as always.85a2a94b79a014c4ca33a8062ef38b118b22a3045d672a19e389faf282f42315988711e401ac60726ab6ce98a734b276Ae991fb02beedf3baadd1164ae35c0e0426e3528fafd7214bcf818716a36113d

Gotta love you some Manfred Mann.

One of so many great bands heralding from the groovy 70's.

This video cracks me up. Brings back some memories of that era for sure.
