Are these still available to buy from the dealer or would I be better off buying an aftermarket version from any local auto body?

Because in my current ugly SHO w/2 different rims :) , they are bulging like crazy, is this caused by corrosion underneath the rubber surface? And if I buy them new will it get rid of my interior wind noise when I have all the windows up from the upper area of the window?

Only reason I am asking now is because a little after Feb my SHO will have a good $6k-8K slapped at it, which will entail paint/rust work, new/repaired exterior SHO moldings, maybe Quaife tranny but defitnalty a fully rebuilt MTX minus the Quaife if the $$ doesn't stretch out enough, solid MM's and trannt mount, axles, whole front/rear suspension refresh, SFC's, dyno tuned LPM(currently un-tuned), ported maifold/runners/butterflies, and when tranny is done whole motor will be dropped to refinish the engine pay and corrosion, I'll defitnaly squeeze out 19" rims out of my Acura TL-S budget if so needed.

Just so you know, regular Taurus' used the same chrome window moldings as the SHO(at least the older cars did.) If you can find Taurus' in the junkyard, you should be able to scrape together a nice set of chrome moldings. Much cheaper than buying them new, if that is even possible.
