So I've got a new transaxle and a clutch kit for my blue 93 mtx.

I'd like to to R&R these parts but I'd rather not give all my money to a pro shop who is going to swap it in/out with narry a look around to see if there is anything alse awry.

Is there anybody in the Chicagoland area who has done this work and wants to do it again with my assistance. I would spread some green upon completion and feed/drink whoever came by to help.

If you have the experience and your willing to help out let me know.

Much obliged,
Chris

PS. My friend Tom has told me I'm a cheap bastard and thats why I can't get any help. I think there's just a lack of brotherly love in Chicago. Prove me wrong by lending a hand and I'll cross it with some sweet greenbacks when we're done.

We (Storm-Chaser, Bubba, Jayro, SHORacer14, and myself, HUGE THANKS COMING, please be patient) just removed my trans and clutch and put it all back together this last weekend. That was a big job. When are you wanting to do this? ,If its a week from this weekend, I might be able to come help maybe I can bring a couple of the Fort Wayne guys with me. Keep us posted...

FWIW, Expert Auto is reasonable, knows SHO's, and did some work on mine a few years back that I was very pleased with. They will also install your parts, unlike most other shops and have been around a long time; also build custom hotrods.. located on Rand Rd north of Lake Cook.
