If you are receiving the CHECK ENGINE light, an error code has been stored in the engine control computer. All you have to do is ask it what the code is by the method explained in the link below.

Test: http://www.dalidesign.com/hbook/eectest.html

Codes: http://www.dalidesign.com/hbook/3digit.html

In summary, place the jumper wire between the two terminals on the EEC TEST plug and its satellite plug and turn the ignition key to ON. Watch the CHECK ENGINE light blink out the codes. Refer to the 3-Digit Codes link on the provided site. I expect you will find an oxygen sensor not switching (rich/lean), but the only way to know for sure is to check the stored codes.

If you had followed the link to the code descriptions, you would have found the following:

176 (M) Oxygen sensor not switching - system is or was lean Left or Front HO2S - Fuel control

177 (M) Oxygen sensor not switching - system was rich Left or Front HO2S - Fuel control

It looks like you front bank oxygen sensor has failed. What brand did you install? I recommend using the Bosch 13223 or 15716 sensors for your 3.2L and NOT using the Borg Warner brand.

Atticdog, where in MA do you live? Also where did you buy the O2 sensors? I believe that if you got them from AutoZone they are Bosch (that's what I have in mine). Do you remember what brand they are?
