Yeah,

It's called the Feris Bueller's day off test check ride.
You know how many garages do that sort of crap?
Probably all of them.

You probably need new Oxygen sensors.

There is absolutely no information given that can lead to such a conclusion.

Read the codes and see WHY the light is on. If I had to guess, I would say the shop may have missed a connection or two and did not catch it before delivery.

The proper way to clear the stored codes is to connect the test jumper, turn the ignition key to ON then pull the jumper while the CHECK ENGINE light starts flashing out the codes. This will prevent you from having to reset you climate control, clock and radio settings.

The procedure above is to clear the stored EEC codes. It will NOT extinguish the CHECK ENGINE light. As stated previously, the light is on because there is a condition preventing your engine control system from functioning properly; maximizing performance and minimizing emissions. Learn to read the codes and save yourself a bunch of grief. The CE light is your friend. Let it help you keep your engine running at its best.

Unplugging the battery and hitting the brake for 5-10 secs will clear the codes on your car. But it's not going to make the CE go off. The CE is illuminated for a reason, it's indicating that there is a problem with your car. Check out the following link to find out how to check your own codes: http://www.midwestsho.com/catalog/troubleshooting.php?codes=instructions

Obviously if the CE light wasn't on before you had it worked on, then it must be something they did, or more likely, NOT did to your car. They probably disconnected a sensor and forgot or missed it when putting everything back together.

Edit: Sorry missed Scott's post on this, didn't mean to repeat him. Anyways if you don't have the time, knowledge, paperclip, etc. or don't want to check the codes yourself, bring your vehicle back to the shop that did the work on your car and explain the situation to them.
