Sounds like you need to clean your "nostrils". Take off the plastic intake piece
so you can look into the T.B. You need a big can of your favorite cleaning agent, and a coat hanger. Thin is better than thick. Prop your butterfly open.
you will see two openings on the bottom of the T.B. Soak the *** out of these
holes. You will need to bend about 1-1/2 inch at the end of the coat hanger
about 22 deg.? Work the spray and wire till you dig out all the chunks.
If you clean out all the egr passages, it would probably help a lot. It did for me.
We spent a good while cleaning chunks out of mine.. (thanx cowsareholy!!)

Good Advice

I cleared the code by just spraying cleaner in the throttle body AND running 5 ounces of SEAFOAM through a vacuum tube. The code cleared and upon emissions inspection compared to last year HC dropped 80%, CO dropped 1100%, and NO dropped 65%

got the same type of issue. Mine started over a year ago and I wasted about $400 at the dealer. Got a new EGR with no change. Had it back at no charge. No change. I just finished the upper 60k and cleaned the sampling ports and the path to the EGR. Thought for sure this would fix it since they were plugged. Came back on during my test drive. Time to pull codes again and see what is left.

P.S. urlacher54 any issues with a slow setting cruise control?

No mystery is no excitement. A 58 Rambler won't give you any mystery. Hmmm sounds pretty good right about now after working in an engine bay for Gnomes.

check tubing

Check the tubing attached to the EGR. I found a small break in one. That would give you a code 332

Not sure where you can get it, but you might find something generic at autozone. I was changing my rear plugs the other day and forgot to hook a hose back up and got a check engine light with a 332 code. I plugged it back it and it cleared
