Check engine light???

nothin too major but everytime i push my 94 SHO ATX a little "hard" my check engine light will light up for a few seconds and then shut off. is this just due to overheating of my transmission? FYI the car runs perfect, so i dont think that it is a major problem.

Any help would be nice.

O i almost forgot. would a atx tranny cooler be a good investment?

sounds like an O2 sensor to me...

But pull the codes to be sure.

is it a big deal if the O2 sensor isnt working properly? does that affect performance?
