Check Engine Light

When driving on the expressway yesterday, my check engine light kept going on and off. The car ran fine. Could it just be a sensor or ???

Probably an oxygen sensor, but the only way to know for sure is to check the codes. It only takes a 6" piece of wire with 1/4" spade lugs on both ends and about 2 minutes of time. Read about it here:

I replaced both O2 sensors on my 94 atx and the light went off and I went from 125 miles to a tank and lagging secondaries to 325 a tank and much better performance and the light went off. Front easy with tool, back is a b*tch to get plugged in. Still only took less than 30 minutes.

Andy's '93 did almost the exact same thing. Try checking the PFE sensor...
