So driving home today my check engine light came on. Car is running fine it seems. Nothing out of the ordinary. Plugged my scan tool into it and this came up. Any ideas?
Don't think the code has anything to do with CID circuit failure as there are different codes for that. The MAP / BP sensor is the black one bolted to the firewall with a grey jiggle valve on it.
Put the jumper on and two codes came up. Did this three times so I was certain it was what I was seeing. Codes as follows...
126
114
That's all that came up. 126 was first and the 114 second. This too was after I pulled the battery and let it sit to clear any stored codes. So what am I looking at?
The 126 MAP code must have been on demand to have come up before the stored 114 Air Charge temp. That's the sensor in the air box. Both are governed by VREF, which is 5 volts. Might want to check what that is.
