Changed out rod bearings, 3k rpm knock!

I used permatex "red n tacky" (i think it's called) assembly ****. I think if I wiped the rod bearings out, it would have been when I was running the engine up to 7k right before the check oil light came on. Maybe the oil pickup ran out of oil at that high rpm, and starved the bearings???
