How do you get the center console plate off? Where the stereo goes?

I can get the top screws out, but there are two holding the bottom, do I need to tear the whole center piece apart to get to those screws?

Thanks!

You can pull the top part of the console off and then get at the two bolts holding the radio bezel in. I can't remember but I believe that there is only one screw and a few clips holding the top part of the console on.

Yes.

There are two really annoying bolts down at the bottom of the housing.

Why are you trying to remove it? An EATC/HU swap is really the only reason you need to remove it. Are you just trying to remove the head unit?

You can get the lower bolts off once you take out whatever is in the bottom slot (usually the cupholder/coin tray). There's a bolt way at the back, behind the stereo, that you'll need to get too.
