I went to go to work today, the SHO won't start, just pops and sputters...classic cam sensor symptoms. I pulled the sensor off, and found the sensor full of plastic shards, and the vane in a twisted wad inside it.
I didn't have time to look at it any more, had to get to work... how does the vane attatch to the end of the cam? Is it riveted or screwed or what, and does it have to be indexed or is it assymetrical?? And what am I going to have to do to fix this??? I know I could figure it out with some investigation, but I had to get to work, and I just want to know how much time I need ot budget to fix this....it couldn't have come at a worse time, as I am in the middle of work, finals, licensure test, job search, and in-laws visiting. ARRGH!!!
