cam sensor resistance?

It should give a pulse when it is rotated. You can read it with a AC volt meter.

The cam sensor is a powered (active) Hall effect sensor, it needs to have +12V and ground to function and a pullup resistor from +12V to its output, then you would be able to test it by moving a steel shutter between the magnet and sensor. Ohm meter/resistance checks aren't going to tell you anything valuable.

At best, if it's on the engine, plugged in and the ignition is on, the output will be high (12V) for one crank revolution, then low (near 0V) for the next revolution.
