Cam seals

How difficult is it to change the cam seals? I have an oil leak that I can't locate and it leaks right on top of my y-pipe/cat area. I have talked to a couple people with the symptoms and that is where there leak was coming from. I would appreciate it if someone could help me out and explain the procedure to me. Thanks in advance.

Very good possibility it's your front main seal leaking. Just did that on my bro's SHO. It would leak onto the cat and smoke would billow from it. Not too bad of a job, just take your time.

I just changed my '90's cam seals. If you can do the crank seal, you can do the cam seals. After removing the timing belt, you must also remove the cam sprockets, the metal plate behind them, and the cam position sensor and ring assembly. All three of my original cam seals were leaking down the front of the motor.
