Does anyone in the Greenville SC area have a cam seal installer tool available to lend/rent or assist with cam seal installation? I put in new cam seals and the rear seal is leaking again. Thanks

the work-around is to remove the rear valve cover, remove the cam bearing cap on that cam and the seal just slips off and the new one on.

the rear one is the hardest because the inner lip engages the shaft at the same time as the outer part engages the housing, so it almost guarantees that the lip will roll unless you have the expander or have removed the bearing cap.

If you get desperate, you can always make your own tools out of pvc pipe. While not ideal, you can get the job done. Whatever you do, don't damage the seal! (and some rtv will help too)
