My car bucks real bad when I first start it up in the morning, I mean if i floor it the car will just buck real bad and not take off until it gets into the higher rpms. It does the same thing when I leave work about 8-9hrs later but not so bad. It bucks so bad that I can't even move and I feel something that seems to be the front end popping when it bucks. Any ideas? I've only had the car for about two months and I got a bunch of receipts for it. Including plugs/wires/ about 5k miles on them and even newer injectors. The fuel pump does whine pretty loud when I turn the key before I start the car is that that norm for these cars because my tbird never seemed to whine this loud? Any help is much appreciated, Thanks Dan

I hate that crap, my 89 use to do that if I didn't let it warm up. So what did I do? I revved that bad boy up to 7k and dumped the clutch.....problem solved!

I never really cared to search into the problem, but it seemed to be common with a lot of Gen 1 MTX SHO's. I only had the problem when I didn't let the idle, idle down after starting. Then when I would come to a stop afterward, I would have a very jumpy idle, up to 2.5k, that would surge. The problems/surging would go away once the car reached normal orperating temps.

Maybe the IAC or an issue that all relates back to resetting the idle. I really can care less though, but it usually ****** me off when I was in a hurry, that's why I dumped the clutch.
