That car is perfect for a Lemons run! We don't take it personally. The reason this site is so popoular is that these cars have made amature mechanics out of most of us.

Check out the fordbastards.com site for the Texas group. They are or were running some Lemons SHO cars recently.

Thanks for the kind words. we need to figure out this motor gremlin and fast or else this may not be the car we run, we dont' want to pay 1150 to enter then on the 3rd lap have the car spit out a rod. Anyone know of guys local in the bay area that are good w/ these things that could maybe just take a listen??

There are lots of deals on these cars out here in the bay area.

Right now on CL there are 2 good deals.

one is a running looks very clean 92 or 93 can't remember 5 spd for 500 bucks (called and offered him 250 also) may need a spare car.

the other is a no motor no trans 93 however for 450 the car comes with 2 motors and 2 transmissions (called and tried to buy one of the motors for like 50 bucks)

We shall see, right now the main agendas are check this noise and the CV shaft that is toast on the Drivers side.

Ever been to www.shosource.com? If you haven't, go there, and look at their t-shirts. One of them says "SHO: Making mechanics out of ordinary people since 1989". You will find this to be enormously and depressingly true.

Why wouldn't we like you? Your SHO won't be the first, or even the second SHO in the crapfest. We think it's hilarious, but you betta win!
