You need the 96 SHO caliper bracket because it's slightly taller to clear the larger rotor. You can retain your stock 94 calipers and pads or upgrade to the 96 calipers and pads(pads are slightly larger). Both will fit the 96 caliper bracket.

I have a 95 and according to the information i received, and followed, when i upgraded my brakes i was able to keep my stock 95 caliper. I installed 96 linclon continental/SHO rotors and ford 96 SHO brake pads. IT works, so it must not be too bad. Can i expect trouble or premature wear because i did not change to the 96 Caliper?

I don't know if it's different with the '96 caliper, but using the '96 pads on the '95 calipers in my setup seems to wear the inner pad much more quickly than the outer. Most likely this happens because the piston is inboard of the rotor and this pad will get more force.

I don't see any other problems and that's a minor one. I've had the upgrade for .. oh, 20k miles and I love it but I'm about 1/3 of the way through these front pads already.
