Brake Parts Question

Are the Performance Friction 4214S pads at Autozone for the gen 1 and 2? (I have a 1992) Also Does that cover all four corners or is it just the front pads?

And what are the parts numbers for the AIMCO (Autozone) front and rear rotors for a 92'

Yes, the 4214S PF-CM pads will fit the '89-'93 SHOs. There was a rotor diameter change after that time. You can check the AutoZone.com site for the AIMCO rotors for the rear brakes since I don't know those off the top of my head.

AIMCO is no longer the supplied part at A-Z. Valucraft is the brand now. have a set of Valucraft rotors and pads on my truck, they work fine.

I noticed when I went in that the AIMCO rotors are now more expensive (29.99ea/front and 24.99ea/rear) but they have a rotor (valuecraft) that is 19.99ea/front and 14.99ea/rear. The guy at the desk told me that one of the differences is the AIMCO's are vented and the Valucraps are not.

I am in need of one rear and I think that I'll get the ValueCraft...I'll let you know how it works out.

BTW. I think I have a collapsed brake line on the passenger rear because the pad wear is signifigantly greater on that one than the others. Where can I get a new line, other than steel braided.
