the shosource catback is better and a lot cheaper.

http://shosource.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=43_54&products_id=215

and installed, they both look like pipes hanging under you car ;)

Why do you say that? I'm not Trying to Knock SHO-Source here but I don't care for the sound of their catback. The 3.2 MTX we just picked up has a has a Borla Catback and beside a Annoying rattle we need to track down, It's the best sounding Exhaust I've heard on a SHO.

With that said, It's not lot Catbacks give you much horsepower anyways, The only reason I'd get one is for the Sound. In this case, Borla Wins.

I'll get you a picture of ours Installed tonight when I get home if I can.

I would buy the SHOsource piping and add Borla mufflers, you will get more flow than the Borla cat-back (which has only 2.25 inch piping).

First off with our system you customize it. You can add your own mufflers to finish it off. So you make it sound how you want.

Ill need to get new sound clips up of the system on my car as it sounds even better, no rasp at all. For what ever reason the testing does not do justice for what you get.

Sean heard it as well as people at Convention.

Ah, okay. That makes sense. Thanks.

Glad I could help!

FWIW, either system will fit on your car. If you're getting a good enough deal on it, you can always take the turn downs off and add tips. IMO the Borla tips were kinda funky looking. They have "fins" (for lack of a better word) inside them.

Well, no one on hear has heard how my shosouce catback sounds. Zero rasp, cold, hot, doesn't matter.

It's a nice deep tone, very sedated when idling, and absolutely bad ass when the secondaries kick in.

If I can find a microphone that can properly record the sound I will post it.

I think it sounds as good, if not better then the borla catback. I have checked out the borla setup in person, it sounds nice. I swapped my muffler once, simply because the first one was five years old and to loud.

The best known (and most expensive) cat-back exhaust is the stainless steel systems from Borla; several netters claim that these systems sound the nicest, and they come with a million mile warranty, but they are not cheap (expect to pay roughly $700-1000 depending on the model year).

Expected performance gain: 6 to 10 hp. Do not believe the early published reports of 30 hp gains with this exhaust! Such gains are only possible with a change-out of the catalytic converter assembly to a high-flow type.

Borla disputes this information, and insists that the dyno tests were accurate. They still reference the dyno test in their advertisements.

Im not sure how old this info is, but for the price, shosource catback is the better deal by long shot.

SolidState, I will get a sound clip for you and what muffler I am running if you are interested.

Also, drooling over Borla for the brand name is...
