Hey, Mike (and others)...tightening the PS belt worked real well, for about 100 miles. Now, the belt clatter is terrible and the power steering pump has officially exploded, spraying fluid all over the place.

I need this fixed with a quickness. I know you've got that water pump kicking around too (which I seem to recall was supposed to be part of the deal for the parts) and can make this worth your while.

If anyone can do this soon (today even) try to call me at 262-325-0346 or my folks at 262-724-5266. We do have a parts car; pump on that one is in unknown condition. The car itself (black '89 SHO) is currently parked in front of Hunter's Service in Delavan.

On top of all of this, I have to work in Brookfield today from 10 to 8. And a friend needed to drive this car back to Syracuse, NY late tonight.

Bad craziness out here, man.

uhhh... a PS pump is quite a project... i just did my rear motor mount today, and didnt have to remove anything but the passenger wheel and the mount itself... looking at that, i cant imagine doing a PS pump in an afternoon

Well, we've made other arrangements for Tim's trip to NY, but the car as it sits still needs a power steering pump.

Anybody keen to help out with this? There's a complete (minus plug wires) SHO motor in it for any brave soul up for it.

As before Im very interested in helping. Expecially if a parts or a whole car is included. But if the project can wait a week or two, I'll be out of school and I'll have more time.

Alright, awesome. We've got a little more time to get this done. But I need to have it ready for the road on or around May 18th. What are people's schedules like the next week and a half or so?
