Being a brand new SHO owner (4 days so far), I have done some searching, probably not to the extent of the full internet, but I want to know opinions of the best Cold Air Intake for the 2010 SHO. I am looking at performance. There are a few out there right now besides the Airaid, such as the K&N, Weapon-R, Hennessey, etc, but have not read many reviews or good data on HP gains for each... looking for which one and why. I would really like to know if anyone has the weapon-r since I have not come across anyone with it. Thanks!

The best one is MINE... (mine is a RotoFab "J" pipe with an AEM round filter - flowing thru a Carriage Works open Grille)

Kidding... but all make that claim.... Neither the CAI's nor the Exhaust mods really make a great deal of difference... but they provide GREAT NOISE FLUFF... as well as nearly PERFECT VISUAL FLUFF....

A TUNE IS THE BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK....Hands Down.

If you do a search here and elsewhere, you will get many differing opinions, and some which say that a K & N insert filter in your stock box works best. Hennessey is definitely over priced and very hard to install.

I like the look of my AirRaid CAI, it doesn't really make a difference but it sure does look cool when I open the hood, The OoO AhHh effect went through the roof.

I put the K&N CAI on mine and I love it. The sounds a so much better and I hate the "boxy" look our stock set up has as does the airraid. Don't get me wrong I'm sure it's a great product but I Perfer the look of a stereotypical CAI over a box.

Since this intake is specifically for the non-turbo (non SHO) engine, did it fit well and did you notice any performance improvements? I think I'm leaning the K&N direction. Thanks.
