Question for experienced restorers/painters..Should I use a semi gloss or a satin finish paint for this part of the door frame??

I recommend Duplicolor OEM Black trim paint; part number is TP70. I've gotten excellent results with it. You can find it at Advance Auto or Autozone.

Thank you Guys,
I have been working on the sliding sunroof screen first, I tried semi-gloss and that was too shiny for sure, then I tried some satin, but still..booo, so I flatted it and that looks pretty good for the interior to make it unobtrusive, but I want the outside to look original of course, I've got plenty of places to try it so I'll probably try both of your suggestions and see which fits my eye. tks again,

Are there any stick-on products that will look after this condition? Was the original a stick-on?
I tried painting this surface and it did not work out for me.

Thanks for the Duplicolor part number, I tried that today on one of the places and am pretty happy with the results, Now I really gotta get on replacing the window channel frames and the other girls have some of the same problems too.
