What are some of the best leather cleaner/conditioners that won't totally break the bank. Not really interested in mail ordering, just whatever I can get at walmart, auto parts store, or western store (like in the saddle care dept.)

Just bought some newer grey leather seats on ebay. They're not perfect but they're not ripped. Driver's side is a little discolored in the pics (I haven't picked the seats up yet). Hoping to find something that might help restore the color on the seats and then maintain them so they don't rip like my stock seats did. Doesn't matter if I have to get two products (one for cleaning, one for conditioning).

I have to put in my $.02, please don't buy Armor All. Speaking from bad experiences. Other than that use something like Meguiar's or something like that.

No, I know enough not to do that! Luckily I learned my armour all lessons on cheap vinyl seats. I was thinking something along the lines of Lexol or Hide Food. But I've never used any of those products. That's why I need help.

the two products i have used are both great.... lexol and 3M Refresh

I started using lexol because i had heard it was the best within reason... then the store i work at started carrying 3M Refresh, and it has been my experience that almost everything 3M makes is an excellent product, so i bought a bottle... been using it ever since

I used the lexol cleaner and conditioner with little results. It may just be that my seats are just too dry :( . But my friend used meguires on his seats and they came out real good, but then again his seats are in better shape then mine.

I used meguires and lexol on my seats. I really like meguires prducts, ive been detailing cars for 17 years now, and I have to say these are the only 2 products I would use.

I've used lexol and mothers~~~~both are superb. If your leather is very old/frayed then I have found they can't be brought back or hardly improved.

Um...just my 0.2 cent but, I have always used Armor All on my moms Corolla and have never had problems. It cleans and shines really nice when you use the cleaner and then the conditioner. So what's the prob with Armor All? Had the car for 4 years with no problems on the vinyl. What's up?

I thought adidasho was referring to regular armor all, not the specialized leather cleaner and conditioner. shrug

I bought some Lexol cleaner and conditioner to start out with. I was looking for Mother's leather cleaner (to use with Lexol conditioner) but I couldn't find it. Haven't done the cleaning yet though.

Hey shojuan, I have only used the leather cleaning wipes today on my moms new 4Runner. But the other wipes, Cleaning, Conditioner, and glass I have used for about four years. Does this ruiner or hurt the vinyl? Thanks for any help guys, I don't want to use something that is gonna hurt my broken baby. :D

I don't know about their other products, but IMHO Armour All (the original spray in the black bottle) is a bad, bad product. It tends to turn black trim items and rubber (bumpers, tires, etc.) brown if you don't keep using it and it tends to create a nasty film on the windshield as it evaporates off of the car's interior parts. I'm not alone in these feelings about Armour All. As to their other products, if you're using some of them and you like them then there's no reason for you to not continue using them. Unless of course you want to avenge the millions of grown men and teens who have been duped into buying their original product. :p

Adidasho, were you referring to just plain Armour All or to the actual Armour All leather care products? Not curious for myself, I'll never give a penny to them again, but if the leather wipes are no good then Piccolo ought to know.

I use zymol. First use the cleaner. Next let the seats get warm in the sun. Rub in the conditioner with your bare hands. Buff.
