Does anyone know how the Cobra brakes compare to the Bear Claws??? I may be looking to buy and i was wondering y the cobra brakes cost 100-300 more than the Bear claws. Also do you need to do any modifications to the bracket or disks?

The Cobra calipers and Baer are both PBR's. Price may have to do with supply and demand. I called Baer for rebuild kits for my calipers and they said to use Cobra or Corvette kits.

From the Mustang side the only whing I ever heard was the wording. Both are PBR and work well. But Tee Baers always say Bear which for the look is cool. When you order "cobra" kits away from ford sometimes you don't get Cobra, You get Corvette, blank or some other car with PBR calipers. So check out your local stang crew sometime, see who has sprayed over Vette on theirs

Cobra is Semi bolt in, either buy new 13" brakes for T-bird/SHO or machine down Cobra rotors. I think there was something about moving the calipers as well. Baer is straight bolt in and probably what is going in my next SHO though I'd really like to Have Cobra under the the Cobra rims I also want to get. But I'll live with being able to stop.

The 13" calipers will work with 17" rims, and you need to redrill the lug pattern for the SHO.

If you've got the 94/95 knuckles, then you order for that kit, I do believe.

That's what I'm doing for my 93 with 94/95 knuckles.
