I am currently on my 3rd SHO, which I bought yesterday. It is a 1992 MTX red with black interior, 149,000 miles on it, actually seems to have been somewhat maintained.
I have owned two others, both 1991 SHOs. First one was an Electric red with the half leather interior. Bought it new off the lot in 1991 after I came back from Desert Storm. Great car, loved it to death, but sold it when I left the Army back in 1993.
The second was a Mocha frost/mocha SHO plus model. Purchased used in 1995. Wat a lemon, I guess the lot cleaned it up, but the previous owner seemd to have done no maint, or the car was built on either a Monday or Friday
.
I got to looking around here lately for another car, been driving a 1995 Saturn, great mileage, but what a little piece-O-crap. Needed something bigger and more substancial (spelling?) and my Dodge Ram truck uses too much gas.
So I found this one on Craigslist out of Seattle, gave 900 bucks for it. Has a few minor issues, but drives very nice and strong. Wife will **** me when she sees it though, as she remembers the mocha '91 and all the work needed to keep it on the road.
