Eww... thats alot more than I thought, was that with insurance or without? Mine just suddenly started cracking, its all the way to the bottom of the windshield now.

Those all actually sound like fairly decent prices to me.

Those are great prices IMO. I know the newer GenII's had a different tint glass, are these new installs of that variety?

I paid $60 for a used OEM windsheild on my 92 Installed it myself since I am certified to do glass.... I remember back when I had my 91 first gen and the insurance paid for it, I saw the bill and it was over $800 glad I didnt have to pay for it.

I think I just paid my $100 deductible for mine. It almost like having a brand new car, except for the rattles.

I believe South Carolina laws requires insurance to cover windshield replacement. Look into that before buying. Mike

I wish other states would adapt that policy it would definately help things around here I think.

Yes, they come with the molding. I paid about $200 installed for a new 1st gen rear windshield last winter.

IIRC the 95 was the only year with a different tint on the windshield.

If you **** like me, I would only replace it with a OEM Carlite brand. I look for that stuff when I buy a car. OEM glass tells me either the windshield is orginal or the owner cared enough to return it to orginal. I needed a windshield in the Ranger and I put in a Carlite.
