I am finally ready to do some audio system upgrades. Someone not too long ago posted some DIY information about the location of the amps and the wires to connect to for a line converter. I've been searching and searching and cannot find the thread. If anyone can help I would appreciate it! My car is a 2011 with the full Sony system and Nav.

They tout this system as being so powerful and high end, but I have to disagree. I think my 95 Volkwagon Jetta had a better sounding factory system!

Go to Flex Net Forum. Lanson over there is very knowledgeable on this and points out all the issues. There is another fella from Missori who owns a Audio stereo store who has debated him on issues. Sounds complicated to me but was interesting. I'm sure you could PM him, or search his thread(s) on this topic.

If you find the sub amp, let me know where its at. I was ready to do my audio system too and couldnt find it soo pushed it down my list a lil bit. The amp for the rest of the speakers is where everyone elses is, left side of the trunk.

Is this the thread your talking about? http://www.shoforum.com/showthread.php?t=114803
