I'm just trying to draw some conclusions and identifying if I'm loosing it or not.
I've had my ATX for close to three years now and love the power it generates. Its fully up-to-***** in terms of maintenance.
A few months ago I bought an MTX for some stick jockeying pleasure and have been, well rather under whelmed with the power.
My ATX seemingly generates more torque off the line and seems to have livelier throttle response. Opening of the secondaries produces a linear power increase.
My MTX is an absolute dog below 4k. Super slow throttle response and little torque. Opening of the secondaries is like a badly designed turbo system. They kick open and all **** breaks loose. Power post 4k seems good.
So ATX and MTX owners, is it normal for an ATX to feel stronger (yet MTX still be faster overall)? I understand the ATX is a 3.2 and includes roughly an additional 15 ft-lbs along with using a torque converter that gives the false indication of more power. But my MTX feels absolutely tame compared to my ATX.
This normal?
