are the trannys from one year to the next interchangable?????? bolt on?????? i just want to confirm before i buy one. thanks

The Ford tranny for all tauri are interchangable. I wouldn't recomend that you take a reg taurus tranny and stick it on a SHO. But to answer your question, the 93 - 94 tranny is interchangable.
I do not believe that the 94 - 95 trannies were beefed up in any way. I believe they tuned the computer for a different shift. I could be wrong. They could have beefed up the clutches and changed the throttle body for better ****. That is about all that can be done to our trannies. That is what the transgo rebuilt/shift kits do....
