I have a 94 atx. Well one day i put it in gear(after a recent trans swap that someone else did) and i heard a bang and no more movement. if you shift the selecter the shift cable moves but it doesnt go into gear put if you put it in park you cant roll it anymore. I have bought another car for the trans but i really dont look forward to doing the swap. And what is easier, a complete motor trans kmember swap or just a trans? the wrecked car i bought has a few less miles on it and it runs good. Im new to working on fwd cars (mustang man) so any help i could get i would apreciate it. thanks

It would be prolly easier to just support the engine drop the sub frame and take the tranny out that way.

My vote goes for the motor and trans to stay together and swap those as a whole. It's actually quite easy to pull it this way...that trans is a pita and HEAVY and not fun to pull solo. I wouldn't bother with swapping subframes, really isn't necessary if swapping motor/trans togehter.
