Now you can only search back to `88 (20 years) but last year (`07) I ran my father M-I-N-T `87 Grand National with 25k miles through KBB. I think it came back with just shy of $8k but it was appraised for 3 times that 5 years ago, and the values of them have easily gone up since then.....

It's sad that an `89 SHO even in MINT condition is worth peanuts compared to GNs only being a few years apart respectively. Granted it's a different animal we're talking about with the GNs but that goes to show you that the SHO (mainly GEN 1's for now) are NOT yet TRUE collectibles. Honestly that's fine by me because I wanted to purchase a Regal T-type (same as a GN but not all black) and make a GN clone but in all white, but even those are going for crazy $$$. So I'll stick to the SHO's for now and wait to inherit my dad's GN.....
