so i just got off the line with my brother in law that wants to sell me his contour svt for cheap you got to start it with a screw driver and it wont hold a charge even after putting on a new alternator i dont kno nothin about those cars should i grab it or let it be its kinda fast when it was driving i'm just not to sure if i want to mess with it i think it will need more then what he says

no i'm not selling ive been wanting this car since i was old enough to drive and who ever had the car took good care of it 88k and the inside and out are in mint i love this car

That's a decent drive. I only went through there twice in order to get to Ames and buy a car.

My SHO came from Ames. How much salt do they use up there? Looks like my ATX was driven every winter. Also carfax listed it as a fleet vehicle as its first owner. Hmmm....

Thats interesting of your car being a fleet vehicles. i wounder if the state owned it i see all different varieties of state vehicles as for the salt yeah they use alot they where putting some pretty nasty stuff in the salt mix when i was doing pm's on trucks the solution they where using on the roads would burn the wholy **** out of you because it was all under the trucks i seen i guy come out from under a truck with the skin pealing off his arms from the chemical they where using along with the salt, i thought i was told it was used to stop refreezing but i guess they dont use it any more. but I'm at the car wash every pay cuz it will hurt your car even if i know it wont stay clean i at least want to get that crap off

I prefer to think of the nebraska/iowa debate as more of a comparison between the one on the left and right.
