I THINK i found what was rattling in my engine bay. My front exhaust manifold head sheild was loose. I tightened up the top two and and bottom one. but the bottom i could still move. like pull the sheild out past the bolt?!?! Me thinks its time for a new y-pipe!

Also, i think its a leaking cam seal for my oil problem. I got bored last night and did some work on the SHO. I crawled under the car and looked up at my rear exhaust mani and noticed that the #1 Cyl. was caked in oil and it was all around where the manifold meets the head..

ALSO, i have yet to figure where my creek is coming from. I had the car in the air and i could move the tire in both front and back and up and down.. the ball joints are new. i have the paperwork. so idk.. everything looks tight. but the boot for the ball joint was torn alittle soo idk.

As for my miss and back fire down low. ill see how she runs when i can get over to jason's and we get my shims replaced. But im thinking its time for some new wires too..

I'll be home late morning tomorrow and will have the place to myself until late Sunday night. If you want to do shims, let me know ASAP so I can plan for it.

you can check the wires yourself. just run the motor and mist some water over the wires. if the wires are arcing, you'll see it.

The wires generally arc inside the head followed with a nice carbon trail... Even misting water would be difficult, unless you know how to keep the car running without the intake one

Jason. I wont be able to do it this weekend. My dad flew in yesterday and wont be leaving till thursday so i cant get any time to myself long enough to do them until next weekend at the earliest.. Sorry

since i lifted my car in the air, pulled the tire off and looked at things.. my suspension hasn't made any noises. haha SHO

OH, also i was heading back to the hotel today and i saw a Moca gen 1 with slicers driving in downtown omaha
