For anyone who knows (call me a ***** if you must) would a Tweecer rt from a stang be the same thing that a SHO owner would use...

really, so they make just one unit then?

Hardware is the same (RT and base are different), it is the software you load that makes it work with the car. Many of us use the Mustang code for our SHO's when we want to clear the computer. I've accidentally started the car with it still set to the A9L code and the motor did not like it.
