Purchased a green 95 MTX out of Ohio that I get to drive this time!
When I went to look at the car the owner had a labeled folder with the service history of the car including the bills, Ford service and electrical books dealer show room book. As soon as I saw the performance upgrades and the fact that the 60 and 120 full service was done I told the man I don't have to see any more..I'll take it.
This is our third SHO, the first was a Mocha 91 that I bought in 93 when we needed a 4 door after our first daughter was born. Told my wife if we need a 4 door it was going to be my idea of a 4 door...Sold my GTA Trans Am to buy it. Put snow tires on all 4 wheels and my wife drove it year round...and we lived on a hill.
Wife thought a suburban would be more practical so after a couple of years we traded the car in....it only had 17,000 mi. Had the suburban several years and my wife got tired of "the big blue bus" and wanted something smaller again.
So I found an Opal frost 94 MTX(loaded like the 91) for her. Had it until we moved out of town and purchased a house with a 1000 foot driveway that resembles a rollercoaster. The SHO turned into a Jeep.
I was surprised when I called the local ford dealer to check on rear shocks and they said sorry. I guess it has been 15 years since the car was made...glad I found this site.
Oh, I am in central PA up by I-80 for any fellow PA'ers.
Thanks again.
