Does anyone else have clearance issues? The box I have very gently rests on the hose that is under the back left corner. Also, the box is tight against the battery and battery terminal. Mainly, I’m worried that the box will wear down a spot on that hose because of friction and heat. I tried to losten everything and re-seat the box but it still slightly touches that hose.

Thoughts?

At this point I’m considering taking it out and selling it and putting the funds towards a muffler delete.

There's no way to tie-wrap the hose away from the box?

It’s coming off of the turbo suction tube so I really don’t want to play with it. I got it to where there is a tiny bit of touch but I’d rather it be completely clear if it.

You have this issue with the Airaid? That's pretty much the same exact dimension of the stock box minus the top. Mine fits perfectly, 2014 SHO

It’s the roush, which is the Airaid. But either way the box is much bigger than my stock box.

Also, it’s for 2010-2013’s. So maybe the design is different then yours.

There is not a lot of pressure on the hose, but not knowing exactly what the hose does makes me worried that it will wear a hole in it. Also, the little pressure makes that hose and the tube it’s connected to (which looks like the turbo intake tube) shift a little bit. So, I’m wondering if it will put stress on the coupling on the turbo over time.

Is this no big deal?

I could be wrong but I think that is a coolant hose. Maybe just wrap some tape around it and watch for rubbing over time.

Come to find out, the left fender mount hole is warped. It is bent at a downward angle . Therefore, it’s pulling the box down on that side. Instead of messing with it and cracking the mount, or anything else, I’m just throwing the stock box back on it. The intake is for sale in that part of the forum.

Well, good news, I tried one more time to make it fit and clear the recirc tube and it fits! I took the bracket out that the box sits on and bent it towards the fender a little. So, the box tilts ever so slightly away from the engine. Success!
