theres CF hoods and trunks, other than that nothing. the front quarters are replacable, but really light so there wouldnt be much point, and theres currently no aftermarket piece made to replace them. the rest of the car is a unibody so you pretty much cant replace anthing. in terms of sheet metal

I am having new trunk lids made that are Carbon Fiber or Fiberglass. They are for Gen2 only. They wont rust at all.

I don't think there is an aftermarket trunk lid for the Taurus. In fact, I could be wrong, but at this time, the only aftermarket body panel is the front fenders.

When my car got dinged up in 2003, they put a brand new ford fender onit, but both front and rear bumper covers were remanufactured (read: junkyard car) items. The Hood is simply not available anymore at all, and is SHO specific...

whats the difference in the sho hood than the o.e. taurus hood?.. thanks.
The SHO hood is a Sable hood with different bracing to clear the DIS module.

Hood?

Is the SHO hood not the Sable hood? I always thought it was... Guess I was wrong?

no

the bracing on the underside of the hood is different.

FWIW, you can use the sable or even the regular taurus hood, but you must re position the DIS and make sure it is properly grounded.

Be wary of some aftermarket fenders. I had to have a fender replaced last year and not only did the aftermarket fenders not line up correctly they were also more expensive than the OEM fender.
