Adjusting the Tach.......

ok I kinda ran my SHO up today on the highway and it went to 8k and was still pulin hard in second...soo my guess is that the tach is off...so how do I adjust the tach or do i have to replace the dash? help is appresiated

What speed does it idle at?

900 rpms...usually or 1k once in a while...

If it's not too involved, I'll be messing around with it, too. Mine idles around 1050.
