I had an EGR code...removed the TB, cleaned the ports...etc. Everything put back together, engine started right up (in fact it's never started that quickly). I also pushed the throttle linkage with my thumb...no problem. Well...the accelerator pedal is just sitting on the floor! I can pick the pedal up (it's still on the metal arm) and then it drops right back to the floor, as if there is no spring. Well, I cannot find any kind of a spring...

Thanks for any help!

There should be two cables that hook up, one for the cruise control which is a plastic clip on and one for the pedal which is a "hook & loop" style.

Yep...I wonder if something else has come off. For example, as the cable runs from the TB it heads down into a round, metal half cylinder, which is connected to a box...I have no idea what that is, and right now I cannot follow it further because I have a baby in my arms (wife left to go biking) - Oh, I hate these interruptions!

Oh for the love of Pete! SloSho, you should have told me to look CLOSELY at the throttle cable (see, I need guidance!). After I went back out there, I found the throttle cable came unhinged! But the angle I was looking down on te engine amde it look like it was still there!

Oh well...now if I could just get that stupid CE light to shut off!
