AC Compressor help

Hello all,

I have a 1993 3.0L SHO and I need an AC Compressor. On the website www.expressautoparts.com they list the same part number for an SHO compressor and regular Taurus 3.0L compressor. I was wondering if I could get a used one off a regular 3.0L Taurus since I haven't been ablt to find a used 3.0L Taurus SHO one. The people at the Junk Yards tell me that in thier system it lists the part numbers as different. So who is correct???

The SHO A/C Compressor is different. It is made for the high RPMs of the SHO.

The regular 3.0Liter Taurus compressor will NOT work on the SHO. If I remember right the SHO compressor is a Nippondenso 10PA15 F. I am away from my references so the numbers may not be correct, but I do know that the F is correct.

If I have the model number incorrect will one of the other forum members please supply the correct model numbers? hail rangerj
