ABS Codes

i checked my ABS codes today with a Ford Code Reader:

77-Rear Axel Wheel Sensor Erratic Output

for both rear sensors? does that necessarily mean bad sensors? i'll have to physically check them to see how they look later. just wanted to see if anyone had this prob too.
