Ok. so a while back my car was parked and some drunk bastard crashed into my car, he side swiped it when he was flying down the block. His front driver side wheel hit my passender side wheel thus pinning my passenger side front wheel against the wheel well. The guy got away even though his car was wrecked too. anyway ..

I had to replace the knuckle/spindle as it was bent, the strut rod as it was bent, the strut/spring assembly as it too was bent. The outer tie rod and ball joint.

So I think I now need to replace the subframe as it may be slightly bent. Not 100% sure but it probably is. So I was driving a few weeks ago and I pop a flat tire. I take the wheel off and I see this.. My swaybar endlink is gone and the bracket that is welded to the strut that it was attached to is ripped off. When it came off it ripped a hole in my tire. That same day I replaced my two front tires but now have this wobbling shaking feeling throughout the car. Also when the guy changed my front tires I didnt know this but my friend told me later that the guy didnt balance them he just put the tires on the rims and installed the rims on my car. Any idea if thats the source of the wobbling or is it because there is only one end of the sway bar connected and the other is disconnected?

So what do you guys recommend? Do I just take out the strut/spring assembly and move it to the driver side and take the driver side one and put it on the passenger side so I will be able to reconnect both swaybar endlinks? Or is there an easier way to fix it?

Also I noticed that this is how my outer greasable tie rod looks. Is it supposed to be on this angle? Even the other side of the car Outer Tie rod looks like this.

And one last question. I have my ABS computer disconnected because one of my sensors is broken. Usually if I hit the brakes too hard, the front locks up and skids out because of no abs. Now after I changed my front brakes today, I did the brake bedding. Then a few time I pressed the brake pedal as hard as I could to stop the car but the brakes didnt lock up at all or make the tires skid. Why would they lock up and skid with the old brakes but not the new ones? I bought really cheap brakes for the time being. I bought the Advance autoo wearever silver brake pads. Would that have anything to do with it?

Sorry for the long winded post. Im still a newb when it comes to working on this stuff.

Wobbling is probably ****** unbalanced tires - were they used? missing endlink really won't do that.

You could swap the struts side to side, but if one endlink mount snapped off, I surely wouldn't trust the other one.

Tie rod is kind of a funny angle, I would just straighten it up, as long as it's not loose.

I would say the wearever silver's are ****** pads based on that. I would think they'd lock up something at the very least, even just a little bit.

Did your brakes lock up before you changed tire(I assume brand new) or after?
If you locked them up when new tires where put on, you probably got unever wear and that could be your source for vibration.

Also, how hot were the brakes when you tried to lock them up? Brake fade...

Also, when you put new pads in, did you pump the brakes to get the caliper piston pushing the pad completely against the rotor?

when you push the piston in, you have to pump the brakes a couple of times to re-seat the pads close to the rotor.

When I tried to lock the brakes up, they couldnt have been that hot. Also I always pump the brake pedal after doing brakes before taking it out of neutral. The pedal just goes all the way to the floor until the pistons reposition and build pressure.

Well I just cant win. I was driving today to my new job, pulled into the parking lot. About 30 mins later someone comes to my office and says I have a flat on one of the new tires. I go outside and there were 2 chunks of glass the size of a nickel in the middle of the tire. Is this even repairable or should I get another tire?

Well good news is that the wobble is gone when Im driving with the spare.

As for the mounting plate on the strut, what should I do to repair it so I can have my sway bar reconnected on that side? Should I just go out and buy a new strut? This strut only has 5k miles on it tops.. I got it from autozone, the whole shock kit that has the piece already assembled. Would they replace it since it should be under warranty?

That thing has 5k miles on it? It looks rustier than ****. If you bought it recently, see if they'll exchange it. I wouldn't do the work to swap them side to side if the other mount was going to break off.

Its not rusty at all. Thats all dirt piled up on it. If I take it to a Welder would they be able to forge something up? Cheap ass Gabriel strut....

Oh. I would guess they could, but I wouldn't want to weld the strut body after it's together....gas pressurized with oil inside of it. I'd get another one.
