This is just an FYI,
For anyone that has a/c compressor failure and doesnt want to buy the cheap ass bracket or buy an expensive compressor.
I noticed the belt on my SHO was looking a little ragged so I decided to change it, I noticed something different though, My A/C compressor didnt have the belt going around it like it should. Apparently when the PO had it the compressor seized up. The gates number K060716 works perfectly bypassing the compressor completly, Im glad I go the number off the old one before it owned itself. Ill get some routing pics up later if wanted.

I'll be damned if I can remember which belt I used...but I remember I had to redo the routing around the tensioner.

Worse case scenario, get a shoe string and tie it around the pullies, go to the parts store, have it measured and walk out with a new belt.

Also...gut your compressor...takes a little time, but it removes about 25lbs off the nose of the car.

My old ATX i took the whole AC unit out and put a shorter belt. But i deleted the ac pulley and a stable pulley (its there for nothing really besides help guide the belt to another pulley). So are you missing another pulley? Because i would think its not possible to re route unless another pulley is off.

Can't really do that in an MTX unless you like making the feeble attempt to find the accessory mounting bracket that you just broke since there's nothing there for support....

x2. If your not going to use it, get rid of the weight. Just make sure you reinstall the gutted compressor case. It provides some structural support and there are a number of cases where it caused the front MM to fail when not reinstalled.Pull all the piping too.
