For Sale: 1999 TR SHO with 89,600 on the clock. $3000.00 OBO
I've had this car since 2002 and have recently decided to sell it because I don't have the time to give her the attention she needs. Here's the skinny:
First the bad:
Tranny - The tranny was rebuilt in July 06' by a local shop that used to do tranny work for Protech Auto in Gaithersburg MD. At the time she had 71,861 on the clock. A transgo shift kit was added. Recently, the pump started whining and the tranny slipping.
Suspension - After 10 years, it needs some attention. Most likley struts, mounts, bushings. The tie rod ends have been replaced not too long ago, as well as the rear ASB bushings and endlinks.
Exterior - Minor dings and scratches, some flaking of the clear coat near the rear bumper (small area), fogged out driver side headlamp lens. Otherwise, she still turns heads.
Now the good:
- The engine still runs strong! Since this is no longer my daily driver, I like to get her out of the garage a couple times a week and she's still a blast to drive!
- Interior is in great shape. Most of the wear and tear is confined to the driver and passenger floor mat areas. Though it's been a while, the leather has been treated with Lexol over the years.

- Welded Cams - Performed by Kirk (DC Cam fest March 03' hosted by yours truly)
- Thermal Lower Intake Manifold Spacers
- Heat Insulated rear main wiring harness
- K&N Air Filter
- Aftermarket Transmission Cooler, TransGo shift kit
- Aluminum subframe bushings
- 26mm rear sway bar
- Sport Edition Fox 5 Rims with Yokohama Avid V4s tires (plenty of treadwear left)
- SCT xCalibrator 2 with 3 custom tunes by Ford Performance Specialists
- Aftermarket White Face Gauges
The Extras (Included):
- Original wheels
- Spare lower intake manifold and bolts
- Spare upper intake manifold
- Spare coil packs
Recent Maintenance:
-Tie rod ends
-Sway Bar endlinks and bushings
-New Motor Mounts
-5K oil changes with Mobile 1 and K&N oil filter.
-Front rotors and pads (Ford Pads, not the motorcrap ones)
