what is the best set up to use?? stock type or aftermarket??? i am a big fan of kyb what works best, all around use? thank you.

97 sho rebuilt engine, welded cams, rebuilt trans, cobra front brakes (rotor & calipers), cold air intake custom 76mm MAF, GP adjustable rear arms, getting ready to install 3" flex with cat deleat, 3" dynomax bullet muffler in the mid pipe branch off to 2.5" with two 2.5 bullet mufflers with tips.

Sort of depends on what you are after. Only the stock gear will give you the SARC struts, but they are expensive and getting hard to find. Same thing with the springs. Good quality parts for other things that wear out like tie rod ends, sway bar links, and ball joints can be had from a number of after market makers.

What are you trying to get, just up and driving well, or back to stock level, or better than stock level?

thank you. every thing is new, but the struts! i like dual purpose driving, if i do not finish my other car i will be driving it on the power tour in june:thankyou:

Well, then sounds like you will need to find a couple of sets of Ford struts for the car. You might try Ford Vintage Parts. I think that is the name. Its a section of FMC that tries to get parts for older Fords all in one spot. Expect them to cost, though. They were never cheap, but now that they are getting rare...
