95 to 98 Sway Bar Swap

Use the brackets that came on the car. The bars are interchangeable. You will have to put stops on the front similar to what the OEM 22 mm bar has. I used an aluminum split collar on the outsides of each front sway bar bushing. If you don't the bar will move back and forth a couple of inches. Kind of scary when you see it.

Don't use the earlier brackets on a later car. Don't use aftermarket brackets ever. Don't use polyurethane. :biggrin:

Also, when you put the brackets on, use 1/2" washers to take up the space between the subframe and the bracket. The older cars have flat brackets, while the Gen III and IV have stepped brackets.

Get TPR bushings from RCM Automotive. I just installed a rear bar on a Gen IV with the Energy bushings, and they squeaked like crazy. My TPR bushings don't squeak at all!

Don't ever do this. Only use your stock brakets with TPR bushings or regular bushings (worst case) You can get the TPR bushings from rockauto.com
